I'm a professional freelance writer in the cool, weird, creative, irreverent, unique, music-loving town of Austin Texas. I write regularly for the Austin Business Journal, OutFront Magazine, and Eclipse Magazine. My work has also been published in Austin Monthly, Raving Dove Literary Journal, Austin Woman, the Austin American-Statesman, Dance Spirit Magazine, and others.
My areas of writing specialty include cultural issues, women & children, travel, the arts, real estate (commercial & residential), relocation, architecture, entrepreneurship, business and interior design.
I am currently at work on a narrative non-fiction book: The Weight of Silence: Invisible Children of India. The book is about the 12 million orphans in India, the social and global problems which have created this overwhelming humanitarian tragedy, and inspiring people who are helping to uphold the rights of India's children, one by one.
